My new daughter-in-law's family lives in Singapore, and are coming for a visit. I need ideas to entertain them, as they were very gracious while we visited them in Singapore recently. (anywhere in Calif is ok). Thanks.

I am from Sacramento and have had several out of state vistors as well as foreign visitors. There is so much you can do.

First a short trip to South Lake Tahoe... the lake is beautiful. Take them out on the Paddle wheel and also take the Gondola up to the top of Heavenly.

In Sacramento, take an afternoon and go to the Capitol and Old Sac. Visitors like walking around and it is a nice place to have a good lunch.

Go to San Francisco for a day or two- make sure you go to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Drive down Lombard Street (The crookedest street in the world).... Also go see the Golden Gate Bridge.

If you have more time- take a road trip a few house south of San Francisco and head to Monterry. Go to the Aquarium, I always love that!!! Also 17 mile drive in Careml is the most beautiful drive.

If you don't care about distance I would say go to LA and take them to Disneyland and Hollywood- those are major California and US icons.

There is really a lot to see. It all depends on what sights they are most interested in.
