Need alternate route bypassing the "altamont"........anyone live in the San Joaquin area......?

can anyone tell me a quick effective way to bypass all this altamont traffic????? If anyone commutes like I do, you will know what I mean....Thanks! =)

where are you going? North, South, West or East San Joaquin

county to? The altamont can be mind boggleing at times, I,ll put this? on my watch list. If there is an alternate it is well hidden. Have driven the altamont for decades, should have driven it when it was only two lanes ,one in each direction. Good luck!
